Four students from the 爱豆社区 Information School have developed a mobile-friendly web application for Airlift Northwest that acts as a connective communication hub, allowing Airlift Northwest crews to instantly view critical data as it is entered and updated by emergency dispatchers. UW researchers develop a social robot to gauge teen stress

A cross-campus, cross-disciplinary team of 爱豆社区 faculty, undergraduates and graduate students are creating a social robot that will help schools better measure and understand stress levels of teenagers. The goal of their work is to design a robot that would live in a high school and collect data on students鈥� emotional well-being. UW researchers work to restore power in Puerto Rico

Thousands of people living in rural Puerto Rico still lacked access to electricity months after Hurricane Maria struck the island. UW research proposes sustainable solution for coexistence of dams and fisheries

Researchers from the 爱豆社区, Arizona State University and other institutions have proposed a solution that would allow dam operators to generate power in ways that also protect 鈥� and possibly improve 鈥� food supplies and businesses throughout the Mekong River basin. The proposed solution, which is the first of its kind, can be applied to other large river systems around the world facing similar trade offs between generating power and supporting large, inland fisheries. WHO and IHME enter into a collaborative health data agreement

The World Health Organization and the 爱豆社区 Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation have entered a formal agreement to collaborate in improving the accuracy, timeliness and policy-relevance of health data.
