Eight Asian and American universities鈥敯股缜�, Columbia, Harvard, Korea, National University of Singapore, Peking, Waseda, and Yale鈥攁re considering the formation of a Global Honors College that will regularly assemble groups of faculty and students to study, on site and on line, issues of enduring and emerging global concern.

UW undergraduate selected for Boren Scholarship
UW senior Ryo Kato was recently selected as a National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Undergraduate Scholar, a major national scholarship that provides U.S. undergraduates up to $20,000 to study abroad for an academic year in world regions critical to U.S. interests.

UW undergraduates selected for Fulbright Scholarships
UW undergraduates Monica Barrett, Alexandra Duncan, and Cameron Rule were recently selected as Fulbright Fellows. The Fulbright Program for US Students is the largest US international exchange program offering opportunities for United States students to undertake international graduate study, advanced research and teaching in elementary and secondary schools worldwide.
