Recruiting team members for a research project with an international component should begin as far in advance of the start of the project as is feasible. There are two types of individuals to be considered \u2013 those that will contribute to the project in a foreign location and those based in the U.S. working on a project with an international component. Of those who will work in a foreign location, some will travel to the location and some will reside or otherwise be permanently based there. Plans should be made to ensure that all team members are prepared to engage in the research at the appropriate time.<\/p>\n
